Vikings' Favre thinks he can play on Sunday NFL report.(Sports)


EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. | Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre is not ruling himself out of Sunday's game at New England despite two fractures in his left ankle.
Favre, 41, wore a large, gray walking boot on his left leg to the podium for his news conference Wednesday, and he said he doesn't anticipate participating in a full practice this week.
Raiders
Looks like Campbell will be QB vs. Seattle
ALAMEDA, Calif. | Quarterbacks Jason Campbell and Kyle Boller split reps with Oakland's first team offense in practice Wednesday while Bruce Gradkowski remains limited with a sore throwing shoulder.
Raiders coach Tom Cable said he'll announce who will start by Friday, though indications are Campbell will start Sunday against Seattle.

49ers
Troy Smith will be QB Sunday against Denver
LONDON | With starting quarterback Alex Smith ruled out because of a separated shoulder, San Francisco 49ers backup Troy Smith will start Sunday against Denver.
Troy Smith spent the past three years with Baltimore, where his only two starts came in the 2007 season. He'll get the start over David Carr.
Cardinals
Quarterback Hall returns to practice
TEMPE, Ariz. | Three days after what he said was the first concussion of his football career, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Max Hall practiced Wednesday.
Hall said he's "good to roll" for Sunday's home game against Tampa Bay, but coach Ken Whisenhunt said he would have to see how the rookie does through the week before being more definitive. Whisenhunt said backup Derek Anderson would get extra reps with the first unit in case Hall can't go.

Titans quarterback Vince Young's left knee and ankle are feeling good enough that he practiced Wednesday for the first time since spraining his leg Oct. 18.
Bills starting left tackle Demetrius Bell missed practice because of a knee injury, leaving his status uncertain for Sunday's game at Kansas City.
Colts receiver Austin Collie (thumb) and defensive tackle Antonio Johnson (knee) will not play Monday against Houston.
Seahawks left tackle Russell Okung is still a question mark for Sunday's game at Oakland with a left high-ankle sprain.
